Use a cash back credit card or website

When you shop, you could probably also be saving.

There are several credit cards that include cash back or incentives for spending on them now. This is a great way to save as you really are getting something for nothing.

Similarly, if you are shopping online, then there are a variety of cashback websites to choose from so that you are earning whilst shopping.

Deal with your debt

You can save money by getting to grips with your debt.

Many of us ensure that we pay our bills and debts first each month and then save anything that we have left over. In order to increase the leftover savings pot, you can look to reduce your debt payments.

Take a look at whether you can move any debt across to a lower interest rate card or loan, or alternatively could consolidating it give you cheaper repayments.

It is also worth speaking to your mortgage lender as this is often our greatest debt. You might find that you can switch to a better deal with them and reduce your monthly payments.

Pursue any incidents

This one may or may not apply to you, but if it does then you should go for it.

Whether you are in need of a truck accident attorney or you have had an issue at work that needs resolving, do not be afraid to make claims where you have been wronged.

All too often people walk away from issues like this as they perceive it to be too much of a hassle, but there can often be simple processes in mind so do at least seek expert advice.

Declutter and sell

When was the last time that you had a declutter at home? Not only will your home feel so much better after you have done this, you could also make a little money along the way.

There are selling sites for everything imaginable now, so list any unwanted items and make some extra cash by getting rid of your old clutter.

Try out a few side hustles

There are several ways that you could earn a little extra each month, so check out a few side hustle ideas to run alongside your everyday job.

You might complete online surveys, take up dog walking, offer private tuition, give audio typing a go or freelance your skills.

Meal plan and buy differently

After we have paid our bills, it is often food and groceries that we spend the most on. Which means that we can make significant savings by shopping differently.

Challenge yourself to reduce your bill by a certain amount and then shop within those limits. You might need to shop the special offers to do this, buy different brands, make more from scratch or use different ingredients.
