In my 20s I had the privilege of working at a martini bar. Although most patrons ordered traditional gin and vodka martinis, every night included some of the exotic, including a chocolate martini. Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

- 2 oz vodka

- 1 oz chocolate liqueur

- 1 oz cream or half-and-half

- Chocolate syrup

- Ice

Instructions:

1. Chill a martini glass in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

3. Add the vodka, chocolate liqueur, and cream to the shaker.

4. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds.

5. Drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of the chilled martini glass.

6. Strain the cocktail into the glass.

7. Garnish with a chocolate-covered strawberry or chocolate shavings, if desired.

8. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious chocolate martini!
