Play Ball! Opening Day
As a Cincinnati Reds fan I celebrate opening day like it's Christmas. Today, even though I am in wintery Idaho, I will don a Reds jersey, a Reds hat and make hotdogs. I know the Reds are expected to lose close to a hundred games this year, but I don’t care. I enjoy the feel of baseball. I like having a conversation while the game plays out in front of me. And when the Reds lose, we’ll get ‘em next time, because in spring (snow be damned) hope springs eternal.
