Truck drivers

We all love our local delivery drivers, but what about the drivers who bring the goods to our local guys? Truck drivers are responsible for driving goods across the world. For some, they can go coast to coast in America. Others can drive from the UK to the far side of Europe. If you would like a slice of this freedom, owner operator trucking jobs might be the dream job for you. Don’t forget to check where you will be driving as there are plenty of different places that you can see while you are out on the road, you might even get the opportunity for some international travel.

Language teacher

If you are reading this, then there is a good chance that you know English. If you are lucky enough to know a couple of languages, you could be in the position to teach. Countries all over the world look for native speakers to come and teach languages in their schools. English is the most widely spoken language in the world and is taught in many countries as a second language. With a little training, you could travel the world and teach people to speak a second language. There are English language schools recurring all over the world, you just need to narrow down which country you would like to visit first.

Pilot

You can’t travel the world without the means to get around. While some people might argue that you should travel in your own car, there is nothing quite like flying. Being a pilot can allow you to see a new place every day. There are airline operators that only travel in certain parts of the world but there are plenty of others that offer international flights to different places. Becoming a pilot can be a tough job but it is well paid and you get the chance to have a mini-break to explore between flights.

Doctors and nurses

This is another job that requires a lot of training but it can be one of the most rewarding. Doctors and nurses are needed all over, and many doctors take part in humanitarian work in parts of the world. They travel to places that normal people don’t get to see and help people in small communities. This might not be an ideal way to see the world but it is not a boring way either. If you work in healthcare, you could make some enquiries with international charities to see if they need any help in certain areas. If they do, you could add your name to the list of people that can assist them.
